Barcode printers, scanners & consumables — pan-India delivery & support

Resources & FAQ

Practical answers for buyers and operations teams. When in doubt, send a photo of your current roll box and printer nameplate—we will translate it into a build sheet.

Quick guides

Direct thermal vs thermal transfer

Direct thermal uses heat-sensitive paper; no ribbon, but labels can fade with heat or UV. Best for short-life shipping and receipts.

Thermal transfer melts ink from a ribbon onto the facestock—durable on synthetics and for long-life asset tags. Match ribbon grade (wax / wax-resin / resin) to your material.

Artwork checklist

  • Vector logos where possible; minimum 300 DPI raster for small type
  • Outline fonts; embed or package linked images
  • Include die-line layer with clear bleed if colour reaches the edge
  • Note barcode symbology, minimum X-dimension, and quiet zones

Frequently asked questions

How fast can I get a quote?

Most RFQs with clear quantity, size, and facestock close within one business day. Complex colour matches or new dies may need a second pass once we review artwork.

Do you ship across India?

Yes—courier and freight options depending on weight, pin code serviceability, and whether you need a DC pallet delivery.

Can I get samples before committing?

We recommend qualification samples on representative stock, especially for auto-applicators or harsh environments. Tell us your printer model and peel method.

What should I send for an exact ribbon match?

Printer model, print speed, facestock type, and a photo of your current ribbon core label helps. If scans are failing, share a picture of the printed barcode under your lighting.

Do you help with printer setup?

We provide baseline darkness/speed guidance and media calibration tips. On-site support may be available in select regions—ask when you place the order.
